I am writing to you about some changes to your Travel Insurance cover, which is a benefit on your Bank of Ireland Business credit card.

What’s changing?

The underwriter of your travel insurance cover will change from AIG Ireland to Chubb Insurance Ireland from 10 April 2023.

Your cover will be enhanced

The level of cover you enjoy will be enhanced as part of the change in underwriter. This includes cancellation and curtailment cover if your travel plans are impacted by a communicable disease (including Covid-19). Please read the updated policy booklet for more information on this cover and the associated terms and conditions, which we have attached.

Chubb Insurance Ireland is part of a US-owned company

Please be aware that because Chubb Insurance is part of Chubb European Group SE, which is a US-owned and controlled company, it is required to comply with all United States laws and regulations. As such, Chubb European Group SE is prohibited from providing insurance and assistance services in connection with any travel to, from or in Cuba.

Cover under this policy ceases when the principle card holder reaches the age of 71.
